Wu-mongous Sun Shang Xiang

Three factions, three girls.  The daughter of the Tiger strikes!

Sun Shang Xiang isn't really my favorite of the three characters these images used, but her attitude and costume choice (Dynasty Warriors 5) made it obvious to me she needed to be the largest!  With a Meat Bun count of 1000, I needed a big body to emphasize being a True Glutton of the Three Kingdoms!  Her tomboyish personality (something toned down in recent games) made me think: I wanted her to look like all this food was nothing, and she could easily handle another thousand, or two thousand, or.... as such, I made sure to emphasize the cleaning her teeth with the toothpick.  It felt like a fittingly sassy pose to give her, while also feeling like a less "lady-like" action.  Her costume really helped too, though!  It looked undersized on her when she has normal proportions, so bloated it really just seems like a perfect ill fit!  Of course, there's also the status message, which is a bit of reference for old Dynasty Warriors games.  Getting 1000 KOs in the earlier titles made your army's morale skyrocket, so really, it was the perfect choice for this milestone.

Will there be more?  Not any time soon, I don't think... though I admit, we didn't cover every lady of the Sangoku Era that I am a fan of!  Perhaps I'll revisit the concept again... with new characters, and higher and higher meat bun counts...
